What to say when you're feeling nostalgic for back to school season:

Ahhh smell the brand new decorative pencils...We're fully embracing that back to school nostalgia as we welcome tons of new residents for the year. So whether you're new or returning for another year, we're so excited to have you here to celebrate our first Welcome Week. Welcome Week runs from September 16th - 20th with 5 welcoming events, including: Welcome Week Book ClubWine Happy HourThe O.C. Watch PartyRooftop Yoga and a Friday Happy Hour + Bags Tournament

What to say when you're unsure of book club:

"'You miss 100% of the shots you don't take'" - Wayne Gretzky' - Michael Scott"...We love our book club. It's so awesome to connect monthly with a group of people to chat about this month's read + many many other things. Plus, there's always a spread of free snacks. If you enjoy books, convos, meeting new people and snacks, then book club will be something you won't wanna miss. At this welcome week book club, we're having a mini-orientation at 6pm at 443 W. Wrightwood (book club starts at 6:30), stop by to learn more and bring a book to donate to our new lending library (coming soon!), and we'll gift you October's book for free. Everyone who attends September's book club for A Gentleman in Moscow will also get gifted October's book. 

What to say when you wanna celebrate Tuscany Tuesday:

To get ready for Wine Wednesday, DUH...Welcome week continues at Casati's in Lincoln Park (at Clark & Fullerton) on Tuesday, September 17th from 5:30 - 7pm. Because WINE not? RSVP to reserve your drink tix that'll be good for a glass of wine. Meet your neighbors, sip wine and discover a new neighborhood gem. What could be more welcome week-y than that?

What to say when you're nostalgic for back to school TV:

The good ole days (minus all the commercials)...Welcome to The BJB week with a special viewing party  of The O.C. We'll be hanging with your fave crew from Orange County -- Seth, Summer, Marissa and Ryan -- and playing eps from Season 1 in the lobby at 1036 N. Dearborn on Wednesday, September 18th at 6pm. O.C. themed attire strongly encouraged. Expect themed snacks as well.

What to say when rooftop yoga season is coming to an end:

Kinda excited for fall, but... We've got mixed feelings too. You've got got 4 chances to rooftop yoga to your heart's content in September. All classes are free and start at 6:30pm, just bring your own mat to practice on. September rooftop yoga schedule: September 5th at 211 E. Delaware, September 12th at 424 W. Diversey, September 19th at 2850 N. Sheridan (special welcome week class!) and September 26th at 443 W. Wrightwood. Pssstt don't forget to add your email here to never miss another yoga email

What to say when you wanna celebrate welcome week:

Because how could you not? We're closing out Welcome Week with a bags tournament at Duffy's Friday, September 20th from 5:30 - 7pm! Sign up once you get to Duffy's day of to enter the bags tournament (spoilers: there will be prizes!). Then sip happy hour drinks while you scope out the competition. We'll have exclusive happy hour deals for everyone: $1 Coors Lights, $2 Well Mixed Drinks, $4 Glasses of Wine. Other bar games like beer pong will be available for ya, as well. So, come enjoy drinks with all your new neighbors. We'd love to see everyone (and we truly mean everyone) there. Let's make this the biggest Welcome Week event, yet.  

What to say when you're feeling pumped for welcome week:

Pump it out with some boxing moves...BJB residents are invited to experience a private session of Equinox's signature boxing class, The Cut, on Saturday, September 7th at the Equinox in Lincoln Park from 1 - 1:45pm. RSVP through this form.
